We are currently looking for an ambitious Recruitment/ Sales Consultant to join our team at our offices in Bury town centre. You will be in control of a desk which has already established strong and long standing relationships with various Primary, Secondary and SEN schools in the North Manchester area. You will be expected to maintain the high level of professional service already provided to these clients.
The principal focus of the role is to develop business including cold calling, canvassing, arranging business appointments and attending meetings with both new and existing clients. You will be expected to achieve and exceed sales targets. The role will require you to raise awareness of our services by attending careers fairs, exhibitions and open days, with the aim of recruiting new candidates and building new business relationships with potential clients. At Essential we pride ourselves on having strong relationships with our candidates; you will therefore need to spend time speaking with and getting to know your candidates in order to effectively match them to the right schools. You will be required to run the morning supply desk, assisting schools quickly and effectively with their on the day cover requirements each morning.
You will work alongside an experienced Recruitment Administrator who will assist with all aspects of administration, as well as resourcing and registering candidates where required.
We are ideally looking for someone with a background specifically within the Education Recruitment sector, however will consider applicants with experience in running a fast paced temporary desk with proven sales success’ and a strong billing history. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to build and manage relationships effectively with clients and candidates alike. You will be ambitious and tenacious in your approach to building your business, with a persuasive and positive attitude. You must be confident to deliver results under pressure.
Hours of work are 7am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.
