Essential Education are currently looking for experienced School Kitchen Assistants to join their busy agency! We have excellent relationships with schools in Bury and Ramsbottom, and are always looking for enthusiastic new staff to work with them.

We can offer day to day and short term work on a casual basis. There also may be some longer term roles available.

Hours of work can vary, but generally are around 12.15pm - 3.30pm (16.25 hours per week)

Role Responsibilities:-

• Preparation of food and beverages.
• Preparation of sandwiches as requested.
• To work as part a team, including assistance at buffets as required.
• Washing up.
• Cleaning duties including kitchen, dining areas, furniture and equipment when required.
• Maintain safe and hygienic working practices at all times.

Requirements for the role:-

• Experience working as a School Kitchen Assistant previously is an advantage
• You must have certificates in Food Hygiene and Safeguarding Children
• Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (we can apply for this for you at a cost of £66)
